 This event is scheduled on Saturday night after 36 holes of golf, Tequila 9, the putting contest and dinner. We usually begin around 9 pm. Contestants are outfitted with glow balls, necklaces and bracelets. Once the course boundaries are established, each player draws for starting order. They must take at least two walking steps and hit the glow ball while moving, just like Adam Sandler in Happy Gilmore. There is no out of bounds but the distance is measured down the middle of the fairway. So if you hit a monster slice and it goes 250 yards right but only 115 yards long, you only get a 115 yard drive for your distance. Each golfer gets three attempts to make contact. Your first contact is your shot. The three attempts are in case of a whiff (for the non golfers, that's a complete miss) If you whiff all three times, in the spirit of Happy Gilmore, you can pick up the glow ball and throw in down the fairway in a rage of anger.
